Homeschool
Resources
Deciding if homeschooling is right for
you and your child can be a daunting experience. Once you've made that
decision your life will change - for better or worse depending on how
you approach your new career.
Arm yourself with information, contacts, forums, local groups and
family and friends who will support you and you will do just fine. Show
that you have not given this important decision enough careful
consideration and you may have to deal with some hostility from family
or friends who think you're incapable of pulling it off.
There are thousands of choices you can make with regard to books,
curriculum, socialization, extracurricular activities and this can be
very confusing at first. Before you jump into anything think about what
you want to accomplish, the age of the child or children involved and
then carefully consider what you actually need.
We wish you and your child every success in your homeschooling
adventure.
